Weekend Reading 8/28/2010

by Matt on August 28, 2010

Here is a selection of financial articles that I think readers might find useful for this week.

Barbara Friedberg posts the best of Barbara Friedberg Personal Finance. It’s a highlight of some of her most popular articles.

Buy Like Buffet showed three stocks that have been cheap for a decade. Value play or value trap? You decide.

Dividends Value posts 9 stocks raising the dividend growth bar. The financial blogging community is great because I can sometimes learn about companies that I haven’t considered before by reading news posts like this.

A while back, I posted a stock analysis of Brokfield Infrastructure Partners (BIP), one of my top holdings. Think Dividends wrote an article announcing Brookfield’s Bulking Up. BIP has plans to purchase the remainder of Prime Infrastructure, and boost its distribution payout as well.

Lastly, Frugal Zeitgeist proposes some Budget Home Remodeling Ideas. I’m a big fan of that blog, as it has elements of both finance and minimalism.
