Here are a few finance sites I’ve found helpful this week:
Engineer Your Finances presents financial lessons from engineering.
Engineering and Finance have a lot in common. Both are intensely analytical, logical, mathematical professions. Here at Dividend Monk I’m a big proponent of being well-rounded, learning from various disciplines.
Darwin’s Finance shows how the crap we buy our kids equates to $100,000 by 21 years old.
This article relates to the simple living aspect I advocate on this site. There’s so much junk that people buy for themselves and their kids.
Wealth Pilgrim describes how to teach kids about money.
I’m a big believer in teaching investing early on. I had to teach myself everything when I was a teenager because neither of my parents were knowledgeable on the subject. Having a child grasp basic wealth building principles at an early age and then learning more and more detail as they get older is a rock solid foundation for their future.
Credit Card Chaser shows a list of airlines that only accept credit cards.
Apparently these airlines will only accept credit and debit for on-flight purchases, no cash. Visa, anyone?
